Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced that their star shortstop, Mookie Betts is expected to be out for about 6-8 weeks with a fractured left hand.
"There's going to be a couple of weeks of inactivity with that hand is my assumption," Roberts said.
Miguel Rojas is expected to fill-in at short while Betts is out.
*** Betts was hit in the left hand by a 98 MPH fastball from Kansas City Royals reliever Dan Altavilla in the seventh inning of Sunday's game.
