Once again Ben & Jerry's decides to make more woke statements. This time in a string of tweets on Twitter on 4th of July. Instead of celebrating America and its freedoms the woke company decided to string together tweets knocking America for stealing land and saying we should give back the land to the Native Americans and we should start with Mount Rushmore.
The tweets received immediate and sharp backlash. Among the responses one came from country singer John Rich "Make @benndjerrys Bud Light again". Another response was "Long over due for the Bud Light treatment. You hate the country, fine. We won't buy your product. All good."
The controversial Twitter posts also drew opinion articles from the New York Post's editorial board, The Washington Examiner, and several others. Many of the articles and Twitter responses all called for boycotting the company and asking when are they going to give back the land their businesses are on.
