The New York Islanders have announced that star center Matthew Barzal will be out indefinitely after sustaining a lower-body injury during Saturday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Late in overtime, Barzal was injured blocking a shot.
In 30 games this season, Barzal has 6 goals and 20 points.
