There’s a new number 1 in town; Dog Man has opened up with $36 million in its first weekend. Number 2 is another new movie making its debut; Companion was at $9.5 million.
Falling into the 3rd spot, but is still in the top 5, is Mufasa: The Lion King with over $6.1 million and grossing close to $230 million through 7 weekends. One of Them Days is in 4th place with $6 million and totaling over $34 million through 3 weekends. Flight Risk takes 5th place with $5.6 million and a total of nearly $21 million after 2 weekends.
