AP Poll Released for Week 6

The Associated Press (AP) released their week 6 rankings for NCAA Football.

For the first time in two years, the Alabama Crimson Tide are back at No. 1 in the AP Poll, knocking off the Texas Longhorns from the top spot after the Tides 41-34 win over the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday night. Alabama received 40 of 63 first place votes. 

Texas dropped to No. 2 and Ohio State remained at No. 3.  The Tennessee Volunteers moved up a spot to No.4 after a bye week and the Bulldogs dropped several spots to round out the top five.

1 -  Alabama Crimson Tide -  4-0, (Previous Rank - 4)

2 -  Texas Longhorns -  5-0, (1)

3 -  Ohio State Buckeyes -  4-0, (3)

4 -  Tennessee Volunteers -  4-0, (5)

5 -  Georgia Bulldogs -  3-1, (2)
