AP Poll Released for Week 5 of NCAA Basketball

The Associated Press (AP) released their week 5 rankings for NCAA Men's Basketball. 

Week five sees a new number one at the top of the AP Poll.  The Tennessee Volunteers received 58 of 62 first place votes to take the top spot for the first time since the 2018-19 season. 

Auburn held on to number two despite losing to Duke and the rest of the top five saw a major shake up with Iowa State jumping three spots to land at number three and Duke jumped five spots to land at number four. Kentucky drops one spot to round out the top five.

2 -  Auburn Tigers  -  8-1, (2)

3 -  Iowa State Cyclones -  7-1, (6)

5 -  Kentucky Wildcats  -  8-1, (4)
