Another illegal Venezuelan migrant has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old minor in Virginia. The victim is said to be an acquaintance of Montes.
Campbell County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) arrested Renzo Mendoza Montes, 32, and he is being charged with two felony charges. One charge is for carnal knowledge of a child without force and the other is for taking indecent liberties with a child. Montes is being held in jail without bail.
Montes is illegally in this country after being detained, then released by US Customs and Border Patrol in El Paso, TX in September 2023.
No additional information has been released due to the victim’s age and sensitive nature of the crime, but is still under investigation.
