Another Icelandic Volcano Erupts

For the sixth time since December, Iceland is dealing with another volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula. The eruption started at 9:26 p.m. local time (5:26 p.m. ET), after a series of earthquakes.

Many surrounding areas have been evacuated, forcing residents out of their homes again and visitors away from some of the biggest tourist attractions.

This latest eruption doesn’t report any major damage or injuries at this time and air travel hasn’t been disrupted.
