Amid continued drops in sales across all of its beer brands, Anheuser-Busch is laying off 400 more employees. Since the woke Dylan Mulvaney campaign fiasco, boycotts have hit the company hard. They have seen a 30% drop in weekly sales year-year several times. The most popular drinking holiday of the year, the 4th of July weekend, sales dropped 24% alone that week year-year. With these boycotts Bud Light has seen its #1 beer selling title disappear. Modelo Especial has been the #1 selling beer in America since May. A title Bud Light held for over 20 years.
