Featured on America’s Most Wanted on child sex abuse charges, Davie Albarran, 51 was caught after being on the run for 451 days in Lakeland, Florida on Sunday night. Albarran is being charged with sexual battery on a child under 12-years-old and lewd conduct with a child under 12-years-old.
Ana and Yaneiry, the daughters of Albarran confronted their dad in 2022, accusing him of assaulting one of their younger female family members. Ana claimed he acted inappropriately towards her as a younger child. Albarran shortly disappeared after their confrontation.
Albarran was caught after his daughters took to social media exposing him as a pedophile. Ana and Yaneiry had hundreds of thousands of views between Facebook and TikTok and were contacted by additional victims, aside from the two original cases he was accused of, since they started their online campaign to find their dad. The daughters not only made posters and took to social media, but got their dad featured on America’s Most Wanted as well last week.
Albarran was found hiding in a shed and was allegedly being aided by his siblings who were keeping him in their homes.
No additional information on his charges or trial has been released yet.
