Amazon Gets Greenlight For Drone Delivery Expansion

On Thursday,  Amazon announced that they were given authority to expand their drone delivery service by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Amazon began using drones for deliveries two years ago in College Station, Texas as long as the Drone was insight of its operator.  The FAA confirmed it has given the approval for the College Station area.

According to a company blog post...

The Amazon Prime Air delivery service can now fly drones "beyond visual line of sight."

Amazon says this approval "lays the foundation" to further expand drone deliveries across the nation.
