Tesla Arsonists Arrested

Updated: 3 days ago

The Justice Department announced Thursday that three people are under arrest and will face federal charges for the alleged arson attacks on Tesla vehicles and charging stations.

Adam Matthew Lansky was arrested on charges of arson of property in interstate commerce and possession of unregistered destructive device. Lansky was armed with an AR-15 rifle and allegedly threw eight Molotov cocktails at a Tesla dealership in Salem, Oregon.

Lucy Grace Nelson, aka Justin Thomas Nelson was also arrested with similar charges as Lansky in Loveland, Colorado. Nelson also allegedly used Molotov cocktails and possessed materials used to produce additional incendiary weapons.

Daniel Brendan Clarke-Pounder was arrested on charges of arson of property in interstate commerce. Clarke-Pounder too allegedly used Molotov cocktails to set fires to Tesla charging stations in Charleston, South Carolina.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said, “The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended. Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”

Vandals have been caught defacing and destroying Tesla vehicles in at least 11 states.

Trump posted on Truth Social, “People that get caught sabotaging Teslas will stand a very good chance of going to jail for up to twenty years and that included the funders. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!”

The three defendants face a minimum penalty of 5 years and up to 20 years in prison.
