The Oakland Athletics announced on Thursday that they are putting All-Star closer Mason Miller on the injured list with a broken left hand.
The injury happened after Monday's game when Miller put his hand on a training table getting ready to do an exercise.
Miller's been the most dominant reliever in baseball this season. He has a league best 15.49 K's/9 with 15 saves, a 2.21 ERA over 34 appearances.
