The Oakland Athletics have signed outfielder Lawrence Butler to a 7 year, $65.5 million contract extension.
The deal includes a $3 million signing bonus and a $20 million club option for 2032 with a $4 million buyout.
Butler hit .262 with 22 HR's, 57 RBI's, 63 runs scored, and 18 stolen bases over 125 games last season with the A's.
