Rescue crews are searching for survivors after a massive earthquake and several aftershocks hit the western coast of the main land in Japan yesterday.
There are currently 57 people confirmed dead.
The strongest tremor measured at a magnitude of 7.6 at the Noto Peninsula. Landslides began, buildings collapsed, roads buckled and fires were sparking.
Rescue workers are racing against time to find any survivors, as there is now a threat of a tsunami forming as a result of the quakes.
