4 Arrested in Connection with Joe Burrow’s Home Break-In

Four men have been arrested in connection to the home break-in of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback, Joe Burrow on December 9, 2024, while he was facing off against the Dallas Cowboys. Burrow’s home was broken into, ransacked and robbed.

After being arrested on January 10, following a traffic stop for lane violation, four Chilean men were indicted on Tuesday by the grand jury in Clark County, Ohio in connection with the burglary of Burrow’s home, among additional burglaries of multi-million dollar homes in multiple states. Three of the men gave fake IDs.

Although the arrest documents don’t name Burrow particularly, an LSU shirt and Bengals hat were found inside the suspects’ Chevy Blazer; items believed to have been stolen from Burrow’s home on December 9.

Also found in the vehicle were two “Husky automatic center punch tools wrapped in a cloth towel behind the glove box;” tools believe to be used by the “South American Theft Group to break glass and enter into houses,” authorities said.

The suspects are “identified as being illegally in the country or overstayed their permission,” according to the affidavit. Suspects include Sergio Cabello, 38; Alexander Huaiquil-Chavez, 24; Bastian Morales, 23; and Jordan Sanchez, 22.

The suspects face charges including participation in a criminal gang, possessing criminal tools and a pattern of corrupt activity.

Morales’ cell phone rang after a detective dialed the number that was pinged in the area via cellphone data at the time of Burrow’s break-in.

Burrow said, “I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one and way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share.”

"This is an ongoing investigating involving multiple burglaries across the United States of America, specifically targeting multi-million dollar residences and your affiant and brother investigators have arrested at least six different South American burglary groups, five of which were Chilean nationals," a criminal complaint says.
