2024 NHL Playoffs, Tuesday's Results

The 2024 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs continued last night with two games on the schedule.

#1M New York Rangers (55-23-4) - 4

Rangers off to a quick 2-0 lead after taking both home games to start the series with double overtime win. 


Alexis Lafreniere had two goals for the Rangers. Vincent Trocheck hit the game winner in double overtime. Igor Shesterkin had 54 saves.


Jake Guentzel had two goals for the Hurricanes and Dmitry Orlov added a goal.


Western Conference...


#3C Colorado Avalanche (50-25-7) - 4 (OT)

#1C Dallas Stars (52-21-9) - 3

Colorado leads series 1-0

American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas


Colorado blanked Dallas in the second and third periods, and scored 4 unanswered goals to storm back and take game one on the road in overtime.


Miles Wood scored the winner in overtime for the Avalanche. Cale Maker, Valerie Nichushkin and Nathan MacKinnon each scored a goal.


Ryan Sutter, Wyatt Johnston and Jamie Benn each scored a goal for the Stars.
