The 2024 NBA Finals Playoffs continued this weekend with two games on the schedule.

#5 Orlando Magic (47-35) - 94

#4 Cleveland Cavaliers (48-34) - 106

Cleveland wins series 4-3

Cleveland came back from a 10-point half-time deficit with a huge 33-15 third quarter to take game 7 at home and beat Orlando 106-94, to advance into the second round of the NBA Playoffs. 

Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 39 points. Caris LeVert had 15 points,  and Evan Mobley added 11 points and 16 rebounds for the Cavaliers. 

Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 38 points and 16 rebounds. Wendell Carter added 13 points. 

Western Conference...

#3 Minnesota Timberwolves (56-26) - 106

#2 Denver Nuggets (57-25) - 99

Minnesota leads series 1-0 

Ball Arena, Denver, Colorado 

Minnesota takes game 1 on the road, 106-99, to take a 1-0 series lead over Denver. 

Anthony Edwards led all scorers with 43 points. Karl-Anthony Towns had 20 points and Naz Reid added 16 points for the Timberwolves. 

Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 32 points.  Michael Porter had 20 points and Jamal Murray added 17 points.
