1st Recorded Tornado To Hit Wisconsin February

With unusual, record breaking warm weather in Wisconsin, it has led to the first confirmed tornado to strike in the month of February. Windy conditions and moisture rising quickly in the air contributed to the conditions yesterday.

The tornado touched down in Rock County, near Evansville.

Thousands of homes lost power, large trees and power poles are down, and there’s damage to homes, and trailers.

Also, tornadoes in Henry and Magnolia, Illinois raced through overnight as well as ‘quarter’ sized hail. Power lines, trees, and damage to sheds and barns have been reported, along with thousands of power outages.

No deaths or injuries are reported at this time.
